Well, I hope that our technical problems have finally come to an end. Problems Wednesday were about changing our domain registration to a new ISP (internet service provider), which required time for “prorogation”.  I myself didn’t have access until Thursday morning. Then the normal Brock traffic simply overwhelmed our shared server service which was promoted by the ISP but turned out to be thoroughly inadequate for our needs. That’s when we started getting the account suspended message–and no, that wasn’t because you put some bad language in a comment. So we had to change to a new platform which is more robust and will hopefully carry us into the next year.

Now that we’ve arrived at 10,000,000 hits, it is time to move to a more robust platform. My personal thanks to our software developer who has worked hard as a volunteer to make this happen.

At around 11:00 am this morning, I will turn off the ability to make comments at isaacbrocksociety.ca. Then, thanks to a website developer who has graciously volunteered his time, we will be upgrading the website to a more robust platform. This will enable us to handle more easily the traffic that we have been experiencing.

I am calling on Stephen Harper to resign. He is no longer fit to lead Canada, for he is planning to enact a law which will result in the extraordinary rendition of the private account information of Canadian citizens to the IRS in Washington DC. Canada is not a tax haven. FATCA is not the answer.

We’ve been saying that the United States has threatened economic sanctions against all the countries and banks in the world. The Press now officially agrees.

The new law means that Russian banks that buy U.S. securities after July 1 will forfeit 30 percent of the interest and dividend payments. The withholding applies to stocks and bonds, including U.S. Treasuries. Some previously owned securities would be exempt from the withholding, but in general, previously owned stocks would not.

Do we need to look any further for confirmation that the United States has become a criminal enterprise?  Now it has started to assess debt based upon the alleged overpayment their parents’ Social Security 10 to 40 years in the past, and then confiscating the tax returns of the children. Read the article above to understand how childish, incompetent and rapacious the IRS has become. It would be hilariously funny if it wasn’t so scary.

Of course, we already knew that the IRS was a criminal organization, though a few detractors of this website have demurred. The OVDI/OVDP programs (i.e., Overseas Voluntary Disclosure Initiative/Program) sets out to confiscate a certain percentage of a so-called citizen’s “foreign” assets, while waiving every single Constitutional right of the victim. But it is nice to see it confirmed in such bold terms as out and out theft by the IRS, and this is happening to Homelanders!

This overpayment scheme is brilliant on the part of the IRS, since the victim has no way of proving that an overpayment wasn’t made or if they had already discharged the debt.  That is if they fail to keep records for several decades. I LOLed at the following lines:

“While we are responsible for collecting delinquent debts owed to taxpayers, we understand the importance of ensuring that debtors are treated fairly,” Treasury’s Schramek said in a statement responding to questions from The Washington Post. He said Treasury requires that debtors be given due process.

United States Federal Government bureaucrats obviously have no concept of fair treatment and due process.  The principle of inter-generational justice is Jeremiah 31.29-30 (ESV):

In those days they shall no longer say: ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’ But everyone shall die for his own iniquity. Each man who eats sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.

But today in the United States, the new due process is this: If the IRS says that the fathers ate sour grapes thirty years ago, the children’s teeth are set on edge.

I’ve said it. Others have said it. We admit in the past supporting the Conservative government with our vote and, in some cases, with our donations. Now? We cannot vote for a party which fails to fulfill what is arguably the number one mandate of any government: to provide protection for the citizens of Canada. This government plans to hand over the financial information of loyal Canadian citizens to the IRS, a criminal branch of the foreign government laying in wait at our Southern border. This treachery will not go unpunished. Consider the following comment:

I know that we can’t expect any help from our Conservative government, but I am feeling a bit better today. I am a Canadian business owner with an accidental American spouse. I have always supported the Conservatives, occasionally with donations. I made a pledge a while back, after a phone solicitation, but did not send it in. A representative from the party called me to ask where my donation was, and I happily told her she wasn’t getting one, not now , or ever for that matter. She asked why and I told her it was because of the government`s position on FATCA. I had to spell it for her, but she assured me she would pass the info on.

Please make more comments like this. Please comment especially if you were voting conservative and now will refuse to do so. My wife is a business owner. But next election night, I am going to take Mrs. Petros out to dinner, buy her flowers, go to a movie, and thus completely distract her.  So for every one former Tory voter who is a so-called US citizen, whose the government plans to commit extraordinary rendition of their bank account information, the Tory government will likely lose at least two votes.

The Member of Parliament for Timmins/James Bay reveals some of the unethical aspects of FATCA legislation in the omnibus budget bill.  He misses a number of points regarding native treaty rights, French language rights, Article 8 and 15 Charter violations, and extraordinary rendition of financial information to the United States.  But all in all it is not a bad speech.  The criticism of FATCA begins at 2:00 (mins):

“Citizenship is something which is sacred.”  Indeed.

The Washington Post has this article, The less Americans know about Ukraine’s location, the more they want U.S. to intervene, with the results of survey showing that the further respondents pinpointed Ukraine on a map from its actual location the more certain they were that the USA should intervene militarily in the crisis there.

Does it really matter whether Americans can put Ukraine on a map? Previous research would suggest yes: Information, or the absence thereof, can influence Americans’ attitudes about the kind of policies they want their government to carry out and the ability of elites to shape that agenda.

Ignorance plays a huge role in US citizenship-based, global extraterritorial taxation of alleged expats and its arming mechanism, FATCA. Like the ignorance regarding the geographical location of Ukraine, the typical Homelander believes that so-called US citizens abroad are only trying to cheat on paying their fair share. If they were true patriots, they would live in the USA and would not under any circumstance renounce their citizenship, except to show their true colours as unpatriotic villainous tax evaders for whom money is more important than the country to which they owe their very essence, not to mention their education and fortune.
