There has been a new petition launched on the White House Web site with this proposal:
WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:
Change US tax law from citizenship based law to residence based law.
The above link to this petition was alerted to me by Bertpug on Shadow Raider’s thread about rewriting of the Internal Revenue Code.
ACA is announcing the petition on its website and in its news update and probably on its FACEBOOK.
I thought we should headline it here, so it has more visibility. It is a long road to 25,000 signatures requiring an Obama Administration response. Realistically it will have absolutely no resonance or support with Homelanders and the newsertainment media. It certainly should be more impactful and important than the petition to deport Piers Morgan. However, sadly, we know it will not, unless enough Americans abroad raise their heads from the sand and do something!
Yesterday morning around this time, it only 271 signatures. This morning it has gone to 377. Only 24,623 to go!
@Roger,
Your statement posted on the Ways and Means website is really spot on! Now we just have to get the people on the committee to read it.
“The Negative Consequences of Citizenship-based Personal Taxation on the Competiveness of American Companies and the Resulting Destruction of Jobs for American Workers”

Wow, that document is a great read. The link to the trade deficit makes it a far more compelling argument than fairness or US exceptionalism alone.
@Edelweiss…
We affectionately call it “The Conklin Report”
*When you talk about “fairness” for US citizens living and working abrouat, most homelanders just roll their eyes, having been brainwashed all their lives to believe that the only reason Americans live outside of the US is to evade taxes .
After all it is a country where millions of the worlds downtrodden and poverty stricken are trying to get in. Why would anyone with US citizenship ever want to live anywhere else in the world?
But when you evaluate the US citizenship based tax system and how it destroys American jobs producing for export, then hopefully bells begin to ring and lights flash. Unemployment is a factor that homelanders hopefully understand better than they do the concept of fairness for those who, of their own choice, decide to go live somewhere else. It is not an easy sell, but one we must use to get our point across. That is my conviction.
Thank you, Roger, for your continued work / advocacy on this issue, yes your conviction! You are untiring and such an inspiration. We are so lucky to have you as part of Isaac Brock. Your report clearly gives anyone Congressperson in the US information they need to make intelligent decisions for the USA economy. Is it they can’t understand, is it because on non-comprehension, not reading it at all or the brainwashing they are led by?
Harry Reid is currently running the Senate. How the heck is anyone going to convince people like him that citizenship-based taxation is just plain bad policy for everyone? The stuff he says in the video indicates the amazing level of duplicitous BS that homelanders are fed on a daily basis.

Here is a natural alliance wanting a voice: Maybe they will get one, when the legislation for Americans abroad, the Maloney bill collapsed.
Establish a Young Americans Advisory Council to the President
Little do they know, how limited their future is with US Citizenship taxation. I will sign theirs and ask that they sign ours.
Our Time @OurTime2013 @ @fatca_fallout We’re Signature # 2,111 on yours! Thanks for signing our #petition!
