Some of you might know that Lynne Blaze has a pre-existing medical condition. Unfortunately, Lynne just sustained a serious injury to her shoulder and won’t be fighting the FATCA fight for awhile.
She cannot predict where she will be in the immediate future and I expect that she will not be able to communicate with us for some time.
We all know Lynne’s determination to make our lives better. Her spirit shines through her pain.
Lynne asked me to pass on to us the following poem:
Lynne Blaze gave Stephen a call
Lynne Blaze had a great fallHer Sandbox and Brock friends
Hope Lynne will be put back together again.
Yes, Lynne will be put back together again, but she will be missing in action for awhile. All of us wish her the best and her quick return to fight the FATCA fight once again.
Dear Lynne / Blaze,
Sorry it took a bad fall to slow you down…
We’re wishing you a speedy recovery —
and maybe an admin assistant and a cook and housekeeper to help.
from your many friends at Isaac Brock Society and Maple Sandbox,
TAKE SPECIAL CARE!
Oh No!!!! I sure hope she gets well very soon!! We will miss her!! Get well Lynne!!

I am so sorry to hear this news. Please take care of yourself, Lynne, heal well and stay away from the FATCA circus/nightmare until your body has healed and you’re ready. You’re precious to us all, and your health and recovery are paramount. You’ve been an inspiration to us all, and we need your inspiration to continue — when you’re ready.
All our love and best wishes.
Sorry to hear of your fall. Best wishes for a speedy recovery! I know you’re energetic – but don’t push yourself too hard while recovering, make the most of a *well-deserved* rest!

May we have you back with us soon – in full leaf.
Wishing you a quick recovery!
Hi Lynne, I was so sorry to hear about your injury. Please take all the time you need to rest and heal – it’s so vital, and so well deserved. You’re a great inspiration to all!
Please take good care and get well soon.
Hi Lynne, I’m so sorry to hear of your fall. I will be praying for you.
@ Stephen Kish
I would like to send a card and flowers to Lynne but I’m pretty sure she’d rather see a donation going to ADCS instead. If I send you a card with the cash equivalent for say a dozen roses enclosed would you mind passing the card along to Lynne and depositing the cash into the ADCS fund?
@ All
Perhaps others would like to do the same. Lynne might not be able to raise her injured arm for awhile but maybe we can raise her spirits a bit until she is fully recovered. Just think what she has done for so many of us in the past couple of years — the information she has researched, the articles she has written, the letters she has sent to politicians, the comments she has offered, the tweets she has twittered, the Maple Sandbox website she created, the advice she has provided, the “American Taxman” video she made, the testimony she gave to the finance committee, the July 4th luncheon she hosted and so on.
Take good care of yourself, Lynne. Don’t rush back in before you are better.
@EmBee
Excellent idea.
Dear Blaze – so very sorry for your hurt. Will be thinking of you and wishing you the best possible way through your difficult days.
And I will try ever more to carry on with our cause…. inspired by your amazing contributions to it. Thank you so much. May you soon be well again!
@EmBee, great idea…..
Off to post $20 for ADCS instead of figuring out how to send flowers.
A challenge to all other Brockers!!!
