The Canada Revenue Agency – Tax Evasion & Tax Avoidance: Recommendations

It is the Government of Canada’s response to the Sixth Report of the Standing Committee on Finance on Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance. This focuses on Recommendations 10 & 11.Recommendation 11 requires the CRA to review all 92 tax treaties and 22 TIEAs to ensure none allow non-compliance particularly with regard to banking secrecy in certain areas and their banking practices.
