BBC News – Prince Harry 'thrilled' to marry girlfriend Meghan Markle next year – It's "tax colonization through marriage" https://t.co/Y8xrH1mVnJ
— U.S. Citizen Abroad (@USCitizenAbroad) November 27, 2017
The mainstream media along with Isaac Brock poster “Mike” informs us:
“Breaking news!: With the upcoming marriage of Prince Harry with an American, the British Royal Family will now have to pay American taxes.. Maybe somebody in the government will wake up at that point. Meghan Markle is too rich to renounce without getting an unaffordable exit tax.”
And I bet they both have no idea.
Without Ms. Markle renouncing U.S. citizenship, it would seem that Ms. Markle will give the IRS a port of entry into the finances of the Royal Family. Think of it:
“Tax Colonization through marriage!!”
Clearly both Prince Harry and Ms. Markle need advice. In your comments could you please give them your best wishes and a bit of advice.
What should Prince Harry do?
What should Meghan Markle do?
What should the Royal Family do?
“Prince Harry unlikely to share his royal fortune with Meghan Markle”
Well sure, ’cause the IRS gets first crack at it.
Just as we expected, this is news to many.
Meant to add news article.

It’s a bit of a mystery why these stories have appeared recently, since similar stories were circulating before the wedding. It’s not really news, to be honest.

Re mystery
I think someone on Brock mentioned the story was leaked/reignited by a competing tax accounting firm that didn’t get the royal contract.
That was plaxy’s theory, and a good one. Makes sense to me.
@nononymous
Or it could be that the accountants are getting their papers in order for 2018 and realizing the enormity of the problem they have?
It’s never been news. There is no story, there’s nothing to leak. It’s not even fake, it’s just mindane. The seventh in line to the throne has married an American, who has got pregnant, of all amazing developments. The tabloid press hopes (in vain, I trust) that these extraordinary events are going to sell papers like the death of Diana did. The tabloid rings round “sources”, or “sources” ring up the tabloid, and a piece of nothingness is cobbled together to fill space, possibly sell some papers, and give the “source” a bit of income or free advertising.
