You got it! We will take care of the stockings and be there until the end for the outcome and beyond! Santa lives in Canada and was NOT born in the USA!
This is my first post. So starting off, I like your letter.
The US is fast becoming the Forth Reich and I am sadly disappointed. At one time I was very proud to be “American”, so much so that we gave our daughters their American citizenship as well. How is it that the US government believes it is right taxing people who contribute to their economy and take nothing in return? Like tourists and snowbirds do.
We Canadians who regret being an American (there are some out there, yes?) do so because it is not the safe haven of democratic values we were born into and the nation our forefathers fought for, and died for protecting it.
Having just found out that I may owe USD taxes after 30 plus years of living in this beautiful and free country Canada, having never worked in the US since 1980, but knowing that I am more than 80% Canadian in the first place Now I really want to be involved defending my right to earn a living without having to report to the “fatherland’.
Just rambling.
Tell me how without the money thing attached – I simply can’t afford to help right now but willing to volunteer. Please let me know.
@Dave
Welcome to Isaac Brock. You’re among friends.
To volunteer, tell the story of the wrong and the injustice everywhere you can.
@Dave
Welcome from Australia. I like your words that the US “is not the safe haven of democratic values we were born into and the nation our forefathers fought for, and died for.” Here is a mission: spread the word of Isaac Brock Society to get more to join the community; spread the word about ADCS and encourage people to donate.
On the right side of this webpage under Take Action there is a section “Comment on current media and blogs.” You may go there to find articles to comment on. I have been an active commenter. One reason I do it is to help strengthen my writing, persuasiveness, and understanding so that I am better able to make a difference.
You might join Twitter. Usually new articles get broadcast first there. You might have your own avenues that you pursue.
@Blaze great letter. I like the words “nasty IRS scrooge” and “naughty CRA grinch.”
@Dave, I know you say you can not afford money right now…..
Just let me ask as someone across the pond who is not Canadian, as someone who did relinquish and paid legal bills in five figures to do same. (Not complaining about my legal bill BTW)
ANY cash donation solely for the solidarity nature is appreciated. Five dollars put in an envelope as cash and mailed, is greatly appreciated financially and emotionally. Small donations are EQUALLY encouraging!!!!
Peace
@Dave, five dollars cash in an envelope……..great therapy……..trust us…..we all need therapy because of what has been done to us. The alternative is the bottle…..been there….done that…..had to stop that…
Love the pics of the stockings filled with $$$. Ann
Dave, welcome to this group. FOr most of us, the volunteering is to get out and spread the word. Every time I tell someone in detail, what the USA is doing, they stare at me like I have 5 heads. I am married to a woman who came here at age 5 and never returned. She only considers herself as Canadian and has no idea about Us history, lifestyle etc. But now, the US wants to make her a taxpayer, and even come after the sale of MY house for capital gains because I married her. This is how sick it really is. Merry Christmas to you and thanks for your help!
@Dave, JC and others” The United States was NEVER the country that represented the values pounded into our heads as kids.
in the youth of many of us, there was the Draft, Vietnam, Kent State, Chicago 1968, Mississippi Burning, Watergate.
The United States never was “the land of the free.” FATCA is just one more travesty.
@Dave If each Canadian affected by FATCA donated just a loonie, we could fill Ginny and Gwen’s stockings with the money we need to fight our own Canadian government.
@All – I think Dave’s quote
We Canadians who regret being an American (there are some out there, yes?) do so because it is not the safe haven of democratic values we were born into and the nation our forefathers fought for, and died for protecting it.
Is referring to his disappointment in Canada’s government not the US government, although there’s plenty to be disappointed about there too!
Welcome, Dave! You are amongst friends. Each of us has devised some means of contributing to the cause and I ditto the suggestions already made. Getting the word out and making your voice heard is amongst the greatest things you can do. The louder the volume of our shouts for justice the more likely it is we will be heard. Again, welcome!
Thanks for getting this letter into Santa so early, Blaze.
Time for all of us to help fill Gwen’s and Ginny’s festive stockings to overflowing!
Any nation that spends more than 50% of its budget on defense is fu@ked up. Spend less much and free Canada of FATCA!
@Dave – Nice to see yet another start to post. Spread the word Dave as wide as you can … through the spreading of the word shall come the surge of the people, the groundswell that Politicians cannot ignore and the Contributions large and small that will continue to fund the legal actions to correct the evils that are FATCA, CBT and GATCA. A New Awakening, A New Greening, A New Spring. Be prepared to be abused by others who either do not share our views on Freedom and Sovereignty of each country or are simply misinformed. Fear not, whether anonymously or in the clear … spread the word far and wide. I suggest that if you are going to do fundraising activities then please do consult with the web site organizers / Directors to get their agreement BEFORE using the Isaac Brock Society name or that of The Alliance for the Defense of Canadian Sovereignty … (I am not one, I am just a frequent poster).
BTW I see that the gross page count has now exceeded 15 Million (14.401 Million on this site and 0.6 Million on the old site). The word spreads and hopefully the donations to the Challenge will grow.
@Bubbles..”Any nation that spends more than 50% of its budget on defense is fu@ked up.”
Thats the symptom not the illness. There could always be a legit reason at times to have a large defense budget.
The illness is that the country in question considers itself;
1.) Exceptional
2.) Leader of the free world
3.) Defender of freedom because no one else can
IF the US adopted the ethos that they were “as good” as Canada, Germany, the UK, ——–(INSERT), everything would be rather different.
Yes, George, I suppose there are times where it’s justified for a nation to spend more on their war machine than anything else, but creating conflicts in order to justify the expenditure is another matter.
@Bubbles. “but creating conflicts in order to justify the expenditure is another matter.”
Again, why do the enter conflicts/create conflicts?
The very root problem is so called American exceptionalism and they are the leaders of the free world.
@George
I’ll stick by my original comment somewhat by saying that the U.S. must be pretty fu@ked up to want to create situations that require them to spend more on defense than anything else.
@All:
“spending more on defense than anything else”
I heard a discussion recently on CTCAM in which it was proposed that the fate of the nation was sealed in 1913 with the implementation on Dec.23 with most of the Congress gone for Christmas of the Federal Reserve.
In the time since the US has seen many wars, most of which were made to seem to be the linchpin of survival of freedom .
When John Kennedy was elected , it has been said, he intended to do away with the Federal Reserve. Crush and end the CIA. End the escalation demanded by the military of Viet Nam. He was adamant that troops would be brought home. He wanted the civil rights of American blacks to be ensured. Even though their rights had been declared and ensured by the Civil War, the reality was very different with rights violations and outright murder and suppression of American blacks , particularly in the South ongoing with impunity.
The Civil Rights movement, Martin Luther King. John and Bobby Kennedy and Malcom X all represented threats to powerful entities, not the least the Federal Reserve, the CIA, the Military Industrial Complex Eisenhower warned about, and the FBI under Hoover.
The gentleman on CTCAM postulated that had these four men NOT been assassinated what a different world we would be living in now.
Four murdered. Millions of lives lost and millions more injured beyond repair and millions of lives ruined and countries in ashes in the time since. We could speculate all day long about what might have been, but it is clear , I think, that there are reasons why we are here today and the same interests involved in changing the world then are still behind what is moving to change the world now.
And they MUST BE STOPPED.
Financial warfare is still warfare . We are at war and our nuclear weapon in Canada is the lawsuit by the ADCS!
On the CTCAM show, there was told a story about the army of Laos.
Apparently this little army was not quite serious as armies go. They were wont to stop their marauding quite often to go swimming.
Qute suddenly, they would drop their arms, strip, and run into the nearest lake or river for a swim. They laughed a lot and were not serious combatants.
This little army was to be used by the CIA as a ploy. Because they wanted Kennedy to engage in Laos and send troops, which he refused to do, they plotted to have this little army moved to an area designed to ensure their murder by Viet Cong, which would then force Kennedy to send troops to defend Laos.
This is how they manipulate leaders and countries into wars they want fought by innocents and dupes. Because for certain entities, all wars make money and defense contracts are ensured as well as the survival of the Military Industrialized Complex.
And it goes on today: Ukraine. It was said just last night that more than 5000 civilians have lost their lives in the Donbas. More than a million people turned into refugees. And not a WORD of that in the Western press.
They demonize Putin, who is doing exactly what Israel has done to protect her people and her borders. Israel is praised, rightfully so and Russia is demonized and sanctioned heavily, so much so , that today the ruble has lost more than half it’s value. But Putin fights back and is very popular in Russia.
The overthrow of the Ukraine government, by the CIA and Nazi factions with a western banker installed as president. Upon installation the removal of all of Ukraine’s gold was immediate and done in the dead of night.
This made it mandatory for Putin to defend Russians in Ukraine. Hence his move to secure Crimea.
More and more the people and leaders we have seen as the good guys seem more like the bad guys and the people they demean and try to destroy seem more like the good guys, we have to wonder just who has hold on our western democracies? Certainly the leaders we voted in seemed they would be doing what the voters wanted done as they sent representatives to Washington and Ottawa and elsewhere. Yet, once installed, they tell a different tale and march to quite a different tune than the one that got them elected. And implement laws and rules that are contrary to their own country, the freedom and rights of it’s citizens and the survival of sovereignty of the very nation they are supposed to represent.
It is clear that Russia is not the only country under assault.
Someone said yesterday that the world entire is afraid of the US and their monetary sanctions BECAUSE they can and do back up their threats with military might.
Whether a country is invaded by troops or by monetary thieves and thugs the danger is the same: The end of a country and her people.
Support the ADCS. It IS our shot heard across the world.
