I cross-checked the list of Americans Abroad Caucus Members (http://americansabroad.org/issues/representation/americans-abroad-caucus/members/) against the ongoing results between 2 and 3 AM EST and came up with the following:
I had to check them manually by state using http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/politics/election-map-2012/house/ as of about 2AM EST. I suspect that the results may continue to change for some races. I am considering the results final if there is more than 70% for a candidate and at least 90% of precincts reporting, and also final if 98% or more of precincts have reported. (UPDATED 0400 AM EST with info from Shadow Raider and http://www.votecnmi.gov.mp/2012-election-results-mp.php, http://www.vivote.gov/generalresults/2012/default.h)
Please let me know right away if I you find that made any mistakes here and I will correct.

Annoying that I couldn’t find just one big list somewhere with all of the names (most news sites seem to list only the “key races” by name). But go figure, the system is not geared towards third parties and interests that might traverse the boundaries between the two big parties…
In general, it looks like the caucus members did not fair too badly, but we have lost some ground. Hopefully, where a member was succeeded by a new congressperson from the same party, they will follow suit and join the caucus. Nonetheless, now that we have the election results, it is time to start chasing all those that are newly elected or reelected and urge them to join the caucus. And we can start writing Obama as well. He can’t get reelected again, so maybe he would have less to lose by being sympathetic to us?
Also, does anybody know if there is a group of Senators that sympathize with us as well? What is irritating is that the overwhelming majority of Caucus members in the House are Democrats and the Republicans control the House. That caucus member Christopher S. Murphy (D-CT) has now gone from the House to the Senate might be a good starting place.
Ted Cruz (R-TX) was just elected senator. He was born in Canada from a Cuban father and an American mother, who both returned to the US shortly after he was born. According to US and Canadian law, he is a dual US and Canadian citizen (and perhaps also Cuban). He has stated that he only ever had a passport of one country, the US. It seems that he is an “accidental Canadian” who never used his Canadian citizenship but never renounced it either. Perhaps he would sympathize with Americans abroad if he understood what would happen to him if Canada had citizenship-based taxation like the US, or if his parents had remained in Canada.
@Christophe, perhaps you would like to contact your new senator.
@Jefferson D. Tomas, Fox News lists all elected congressmen on the same page:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2012-senate-races/all (Senate)
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2012-house-races/all (House)
Unless the constitution is amended, Barack Obama cannot be elected president again. The 22nd amendment limits two terms total, not just two consecutive terms. [JDT@Shadow: Oops, you’re right, I just reread the 22nd Amendment “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice”.]
I wrote a list of senators and representatives who seem to sympathize with Americans abroad here. Add to that list representative Dave Reichert (R-WA), who also seems to oppose FATCA.
@Shadow Thanks for that, I wish I had had that before. But I am not sure if the Fox site is really updated, because many races show 19% reporting right now.
Also, on an anecdotal note, I noticed a Thomas Jefferson candidate in Kansas, it turns out to be a Libertarian who changed his name http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2012/jul/23/kansas-congressional-candidate-changes-name-thomas/. Both he and the Democrat lost to Pompeo, Republican.
Donna Christensen (D-VI) was reelected.
http://www.vivote.gov/generalresults/2012/default.htm
Charlie Gonzalez (D-TX) retired.
Gregory Meeks (D-NY) is in the 5th district, and he was reelected.
Chris Murphy (D-CT) was now elected senator.
Gregorio Sablan (I-MP) was reelected.
http://www.votecnmi.gov.mp/2012-election-results-mp.php
[JDT@Shadow: Thanks, I updated above]
I thought this was funny:
Palin meets Thomas Jefferson (the “real” one), maybe it was already posted here.
I’m happy to say Washington state rep Reichert was reelected. As Tim previously posted, he is opposed to FATCA.
Tammy Baldwin was elected US Senator for Wisconsin. She has been a US Representative from Wisconsin and was co-chair of the “Friends of Switzerland” caucus in the House. Although she will lose her co-chair caucus position in the House, she will be a US Senator from a relatively important state. Possibly she could be an ally going forward.

@Shadow Raider. Yes, I will contact Ted Cruz. I wonder if I should email him first, or try to get an apointment. I downloaded your presentation. Tim, whenever you come up with a good presentation, please share it.
*@Christopher, @shadowraider
I would also put newly elected Senator from Arizona Jeff Flake on a contact list. My sense is Flake formerly(technically still currently)member of the House of Representitives and long time ally of Ron Paul will definately be close to Rand Paul, Jim Demint, Ted Cruz et all in the Senate.
