Hey folks, Just Me sent me the following video, the antidote to unemployment, FATCA, FBAR, and IRS taxes getting you down: “Spread the sunshine….Fun fun fun” — thanks Just Me. Life is a yellow ukelele (and I love the ukelele).

Thanks, Petros and Just Me. A friend of mine, originally from the States, sent this very antidote to me (for much of the same reason) some time ago.
I will listen to it often!!!!
Here is one I love, love, love to dance to. It’s a Playing for Change video called Satchita (Don’t know how to embed it in the thread so I’ll just give the link to the video)
And check out the comments – someone was nice enough to translate it. Enjoy!
And it had a ukelele. Brilliant.
Here is one of my favorites, that I first heard at the end of the movie, 50 First Dates, Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore.
I tried to embed one of my all-time favourites and thank everyone for STANDING BY ME…
I did it, wow — that was easy. More Playing for Change.
Cesar Pope at 2:30 playing the uke (consistent theme here). Brilliant. I love that song. Very cool.
Very, very cool. We needed all that!!! I feel better.
Thanks everyone.
Oh Calgary, you deserve a break today. This is for you, the Ukelele Orchestra, “The good, the bad and the ugly” (should bring a smile to your face):
Fantastic! Thanks y’all. Treasures you are, all of you.
Great — thanks once again!! We’ll all have sweet dreams tonight rather than the nightmares of everything IRS.
Do you, by chance, play the ukelele, Petros?
I play a Kamaka (well enough, but not so good as those folks), bought at Lahaina Music in Maui. But I don’t know if I will ever return to the state of my mother’s birth, with the way that the US is treating expats. Sigh.
Petros bio update:
” He is married with 4 or 5 cats — and plays the ukelele, quite well indeed.”
And, may he freely one day be able to return to visit the place of his mother’s birth, without trepidation!
Alright how did you do that? I tried and must have screwed something up….
This is a video that the IRS would probably post to play down the situation!
I’ll try to embed this video. Please excuse me if it doesn’t work, im not a code wiz 🙂 Maybe somebody could give a real short example on embeding.
I LOVE the London ukelele orchestra. My favs are Rawhide and You don’t Bring me Flowers 🙂
Hi, Victoria. I just tried to embed your great video, but couldn’t. It was easy for me to embed the one I did because YouTube has an Embed option that worked for me. But now, how to embed yours is a challenge. Someone more technologically-blessed may beat me to it though).
Anyway, all that was a great diversion. Music is so much a part of my life, not that I’m a musician but I’m lucky to be married to one who made it his vocation (along with day work to feed his family) and now, in retirement, his avocation.
Hi, Victoria. I got these instructions from the tutorial in WordPress if you want to try it when you have a few spare minutes. (Enjoying all you offer here — thanks!!) http://learn.wordpress.com/get-flashy/
Embed videos in seconds
If you’d like to add YouTube videos to your posts and pages, it’s as easy as copying the video’s URL from your web browser’s address bar:
…
If you’re interested in uploading videos from your own computer, the optional VideoPress upgrade makes uploading videos from your computer as easy as uploading photos or audio, and displays your videos in beautiful high definition.”
Thanks so much, calgary411! I will give it a shot when I come home this evening. Bises, Victoria

Sorry, UncleTell, I must have accidentally deleted when I was fooling around with getting video on. You can tell what a poor editor I am since I can’t even get your happy face back on your original. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/
