[We now have a NEW POST taking us up to February 1, 2015. This post will be retired from service.]
THE AUTUMN 2014 UPDATE
Dear Donors,
Together, we reached our goal of $100,000 to pay the November 1 legal bill 11 days ahead of schedule!
Thank you Canadian donors from coast to coast and our friends from around the world for your generosity, support and determination — and especially for not being afraid.
The name of our non-profit corporation is the “Alliance for the Defence of Canadian Sovereignty.”
We were very deliberate in including in our name the word “sovereignty”, which forms a cornerstone of our Claims against the Government of Canada.
Canada and dozens of other countries throughout the world gave into a bully because their “leaders” were afraid of harm caused by a trading “partner” — and they gave their sovereignties away.
Help us convince by example the Leaders and Governments of all countries worldwide that they should return their sovereignties back to their Peoples.
Please continue to support our lawsuit.

Chers donateurs,
» (Helen Keller)

DONATE to www.adcs-adsc.ca (ADSC en français).
The Alliance for the Defence of Canadian Sovereignty website is launched (please see above post)!
This could not have been accomplished without the help of many including especially Webmaster Gwendolyn Brock, who put it all together – and so much more, Video Editor Deckard 1138, and the Video Director Lynne Swanson who selected all of the clips.
While you are donating, please watch the video. It is part of the website. This video is the cornerstone of ADCS, our website, and it says it all.
Gwendolyn Brock, Deckard1138 and Lynne Swanson — as well as Dr. Stephen Kish, John Richardson, Tricia/Nobledreamer and others in the background, my admiration for all you’ve built. Today, June 1st, one month until Canada Day, a good day for the launch of this site.
Many in a huge marathon ran by the front of my house all morning. I encourage everyone to check out the ADCS/ADSC site and let’s start our own marathon in donations to ensure sovereignty of this country, Canada, is retained and protected from whatever threat, including the present one from the US and our own Conservative government.
My first donation to ADCS has been completed.
I watched the video already when it was live. I was so disgusted I couldn’t stand near my computer when the Conservatives were speaking. They sold us out.
We have just sent our donation. Come on everybody, do whatever you can for this fight. We all fight together or we fight alone. Together is better.
I know nobody has extra money to pay legal fees but do whatever you can to contribute to the war chest. Our families’ futures are on the line.
Like the original post said we will need to keep contributing to this legal fund in the future since it will take a long time to make it’s way through the courts.
My husband and I donated the most we can right now and will continue to contribute in the future.
@Blaze, @Stephen.
I just sent a note to Blaze with an outline of funding I will be doing.
Money is on the way in the morning post, I pray it helps.
Its now time for the leap of faith.
God bless you all,
George
OMG,
I hope you’ll watch the powerful video — it is a compilation of portions taken from three meetings, the hard work of Brockers to put it together. It is a fine picture painted of Conservative members of the Finance Committee voting in lockstep, no matter the content, the voices of the Opposition and other persons testifying!
@calgary411, thanks I will. I just noticed it’s a compilation. Is it possible to embed the video on the Isaac Brock website? It’s a powerful tool.
OMG,
Yes, we hope that the video will be on an easy link to the Brock website.
It is a very powerful statement of what we are all about.
The total amount required seems staggering but if we take it one step at time we’ll get there. I’m preparing to mail off the first of my cheques right now. It will seem an odd amount but it is my CPP/OAS monthly payment and I can’t think of a better way to use it. I will do this as often as I can as the litigation proceeds. The way I look at it, I will always have to live with the uncertainty of whether the IRS may one day try to grab my retirement savings, so this is a good way to reduce the amount it can get. Thank you Lynne, Stephen, Tricia, Gwen, John, Deckard and Joe Arvay for making this possible. Blessings and good luck!
Friends,
The post by Stephen Kish was very sober, I like that.
I would by lying if I did not confess to having a “gulp moment.”
I am not Canadian nor am I resident in Canada, yet it is in Canada where the battle will take place.
The sober gulp moment lasted about three minutes and then I put together my donation. It will be in the morning post.
Why am I joining this fight? Its not for me. I hate to use that cliche of being for the children but the truth is that I am doing this for my children.
I do not want my children to live in fear of discrimination because of accident of birth. I am a middle aged man, my best years are behind me and I can muddle through this.
But I do not want my kids to have to go through this and it is only going to get worse.
So yes it was a three minute gulp but I feel read good with the envelope awaiting postage.
In all the way,
George
@EM, you brought me to tears.
I am sending all the funds that were for our summer holiday at Euro Disney.
God bless, George
Twitterers please RT!
and
I am happy to donate to help with this Charter Challenge. I posted the video on FB for both my American and Canadian friends to see. The arrogance of the conservative MP’s comes through loud and clear. As we all know if they voted yes they would loose their job. Sad but true!

Is this for any other Paypal amount than the ones where there’s already buttons for?
George, you bring me to tears — and, yes, you too, Em. Thank you for the sacrifices you’ve made to support this expensive, but so necessary, fight. I, too, contribute what I can for my son (as my husband and my daughter and I have our CLNs) and for other families and their kids, people who will not have any extra or very little funds to contribute for this fight, nor to hire yearly professional help for the chains and cost of US tax and reporting compliance, even if they will owe nothing. It’s just too unjust for me to contemplate.
My hope is that non-US-tainted Canadians will see the need for this action and join our fight. I pray that our just fight prevails over a public relations campaign of Canada’s Conservative government.
@noone – yes that is just another way to donate and in that case, it can be another amount not listed in the PayPal list.
@GwEvil. Thanks.
Is there any plan to advertise this on TV or main stream media? The word needs to get out.
It would be great if some of the FATCA articles written by Canadian journalists would provide a link to the donation site.
How did that carpetbagger Roy Berg Roy actually get the privilege to participate at a hearing inside the Canadian Parliament?
How can they let a non-Canadian even attend, let alone make a presentation calling Canadians against FATCA a bunch of Jingoists?
If the Canadian Parliament lets a foreign opportunist like Berg participate in matters affecting Canadians, they have already given up their sovereignty. Heck, they may as well have let Robert Stack or even Carl Levin chair the hearing.
@noone – there is mad tweeting going on and various media people will be getting emails from various Brockers and Maple Sandboxers
Thanks Stephen, Gwen, Deckard, Tricia, and everyone who has worked so hard to get us all to this point. My personal donation of 1,000 will soon be forthcoming. I am taking it from the house I sold in Brantford 2 years ago, before I moved to Ottawa and became a renter. My husband and I bought in a bubble in 89, never made a cent in the housing market, and are waiting out another bubble here in Ottawa. Otherwise we would have no money to protect from the IRS…what we do have is just blood, sweat and tears, now squirreled away in 1/2 dozen FFI’s all because one of us has a US birthplace.
As some of you may know, I hang out once in a while at Garth Turner’s housing and investment blog, and occasionally annoy the crap out of people there with my FATCA related comments which are not totally off topic, but tend to stir up a lot of naysayers, and a few supporters as well (thank goodness for they have helped keep me sane during my visits there).
This is what I posted at GT’s blog today:
This is pretty much totally off topic, yet very relevant.
History is being made, and Canada for the first time is a pivotal player; the outcome will affect way more than just the value of your homes and investments.
All Canadians, now, have a rare opportunity to change the world for the better, which cannot go ignored.
Check out this post; it’s well worth your time. In particular, please watch the video link which contains snippets of your parliament in action.
Afterwards, decide whether you are legitimately proud of your country this Canada Day, or if you think something is very ominously wrong. It’s not too late.

I second that @Calgary!
Amazing job on the final design and content of the website, and all the work that went into conceiving of and organizing the ADCS.
Grateful for all the effort and time that went into this.
Ooops, and thank you Lynne!
And John Richardson. You guys are awesome. I apologize if I missed someone. It is great that the list goes on, and keeps going on.
Good video. Unfortunately for the UK, Cameron’s Government got away with it by also stuffing FATCA/IGA legislation in the Budget Bill a number of months ago along with the Irish Government. In my opinion the Irish are nearly as affected as Canada considering the close connections with the US.
However it’s likely a dual citizen in the UK will eventually challenge the IGA in British courts, hopefully being pushed up to an EU court to strike down all IGAs in the EU.
