Kanye West to leave the United States?

Kanye West Is Leaving The United States Because It’s ‘Too Racist’

Perhaps Kanye West could use some advice from US persons abroad about his pending expatriation to help keep his millions from the compliance condors. No word yet on whether he will renounce his US citizenship, though that’s unlikely since he also plans to run for president in 2020.

His statement comes after Kim Kardashian was insulted and called an “n-word lover” by a teenager outside a California medical building. When Kanye West confronted him, he allegedly threatened to take Kim Kardashian’s life. Kanye responded by punching the young teenager in the face. There were no charges pressed as of now. When interviewed about the incident, Kanye said he rather leave the United States than stay here. Kanye replied to several questions by saying “We’ve got enough money to buy our own island or some s**t. I’ll be damned if I raise my daughter around ignorance and flat-out blatant racism.”

Already I am seeing the Homelanders say to Kanye, “Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!” Homelanders and the IRS however say that to you if you are white or Asian too. I know. They said it to me and I am both white and Asian.

  1. I don’t care who wants out or who wants in. I am for letting everyone who wants out go, but those wanting in I want you to conform to the norm and bring as much money as your can get.

  2. Kavuto says that the 1% will leave the US because taxes are taking 40% of their income? Sure, let them move to Canada where taxes take 40% of middle class people’s incomes. That’s why all those tax evading US citizens in Canada moved to Canada (or were born in Canada or were moved by their Canadian parents to Canada when they were a few days old, whatever).

Warren Buffett doesn’t seem to think he’s paying 40%. He complained that his secretary pays a bigger percent than he does.

    General Electric doesn’t pay 40%.

Oh by the way, how does the US, which can’t pay for its universities, pay for its primary and secondary schools? Oh wait, I know the answers. One way is by collecting penalties from US persons in other countries. One way is by counting ketchup as a vegetable.

  3. With a net worth of 120 million, he is definitely a 1%er. So, well done to him, but it would make cutting all ties hard. I suppose he is just saying it because he is understandably upset. It seems like the U.S. is sliding way back on race relations.

  4. If he did leave he’d be the target of many more insults. Sad.

The funny thing with the old “Love it or leave it” canard is that you can’t even leave “it” easily. Of course nobody but a Brocker or similar FATCA-enraged reader would think of this subject while reading about an American contemplating leaving the homeland.

I call it The Hotel California effect.

  6. @Petros, many think Mr.West is high in ASPD/narcissistic traits, so perhaps not surprising he had a fit over the N-word and threatened to move to an island.

  7. @DukeofDevon, I thought Kanye’s claim to fame was that he was Caitlin Jenner’s son in law,

    @WhiteKat, narcissicistic? Really?

@Fred, my expatriation changes the way I look at all news coming from the USA.

Oh no. I can never unsee or hear that. First time I have ever heard him and didn’t last 40 seconds. But thanks anyway, from a confirmed Stones fan.

If I had a dime for every time I hear some Homelander say they were going to move to Canada because of whatever, my FBAR reporting requirements would be even more dire. It’s generally all talk isn’t it? They might want to look into our tax structure. They think Obamacare is expensive?
I prefer living here and have been, like you and some others, from a very young age. The term anchor baby was not around when I was born, nor was that my parents’ intentions when I was born. My father needed a job to support his wife and two kids, and then the third arrived, little old me on that side of the river. As soon as a job opportunity opened up for my father, back we came to this side of the river. It was just that simple in the ‘old days’. Now look where I am. That one mile gap of my local river between Canada and the USA has more consequences than expected. But I appreciate what he did for his family during the War years.

  9. @Petros, re: “I thought Kanye’s claim to fame was that he was Caitlin Jenner’s son in law ”

You are revealing your age. 🙂

  10. @Petros, re: ” narcissicistic? Really?”

LOL. I just now googled Kanye and the very first hit was an article from US Weekly Magazine: “Kim Kardashian On KanyeWest: My Husband Needs a lot of Attention”

  11. The US is in denial. It needs a consumption tax to balance the budget. Perhaps if the pressure was taken off income tax and shifted to consumption measures like FATCA and taking away US expats rights would be necessary.

Then not only ordinary people, but at least the 1%ers would be taxed as they spend it.

  12. @BC_Doc,

LOL. Never been a Kanye fan. Just linked to the “Stronger” video cause I thought it was a good example supporting his reputation as a sociopath which has been the topic of interest around here lately.

  13. Kanye(in Stronger) says,

Damn, they don’t make ’em like this anymore
I ask ’cause I’m not sure
Do anybody make real shit anymore?
Bow in the presence of greatness
’cause right now thou hast forsaken us
You should be honored by my lateness
That I would even show up to this fake shit

  14. “Kanye West appeared at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards and announced his 2020 presidential bid. West’s announcement that he would be running for American presidency in 2020 has been met with such immediate ridicule you might be confused into thinking that presidential elections are something Americans take seriously. In reality, United States citizens have a propensity for electing slightly mad individuals, including one with a fetish for having Vaseline rubbed on to his head during breakfast and another who frequently exposed himself in high-level meetings.”

  15. @WhiteKat–
I can’t decide which is funnier, the real video or the spoof!

    @Mods–
I promise to stay on topic from now on!!! I promise to never again post either a Kanye West or Seth Rogen video– honest!

For that, you are deserving of the Isaac Brock Society version of the Game of Thrones, ‘Walk of Shame’. Not providing the link.
